text:Director Ameer’s Raam, which had Jiiva and Sharanya in key roles, is all set to be screened in France in a Tamil film festival.
A source close to the director says, “Raam will be screened in Le-Mée-Sur-Seine, Paris, Mirepoix-en-Ariège and Luxemburg till April 6. The screening will be followed by a debate.”
The source adds, “The film will be sub-titled in French and cut short to just two hours. It will be screened exclusively for the French and European audiences.”
We hear that Veyyil and one of Cheran’s films will also be screened in the cities, in the next few months.
Interestingly, Raam, which proved to be a pathbreaking film, was earlier screened at the Cyprus International Film Festival and won its actor Jiiva and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja awards.
It must be noted that Katradhu Thamizh also screened in France & got a bigg response.Its Jiiva & Yuvan again to France by Raam.
