The audio launch of the much-awaited Bala's forthcoming flick, 'Avan Ivan' was a star-studded affair. The audio was released by Bala's guru Balu Mahendra, who was out of praises for all the cast and crew. Balu Mahendra who retrains from talking much at public gatherings was over-whelmed with joy about his eventful day. He expressed that he knew Yuvan from his childhood and is extremely proud that Illayaraja's little son is creating chart-busters and leading others to dance to his notes. He also mentioned that the audio of the film has turned out as a massive surprise to him. The ace director was glad that he had met Ambika after nearly twenty years during the audio launch.
Bala thanked his guru Balu Mahendra for helping be the person he is today... He also expressed his gratitude and thanks to Arya for it was Arya who had insisted in Bala meeting AGS Entertainment who produced the film and also brought together Bala and Vishal. He also told the gathering that for the first fifteen days of the shooting he regretted having selected Vishal due to the latter's mass hero image and fan following everywhere. But he later understood the actor in Vishal and was very thankful to Arya for introducing such a talented hero to him. Bala usually prefers to accompany the lyricist and work at forests or other remote locations for these, making it difficult for him to find a lyricist. Na Muthukumar spoke about how thrilling yet scary it was to accompany Bala in forests and praised Yuvan for the four tracks in the film.
However, it was Yuvan who grabbed the limelight as Bala, Na Muthukumar and Balu Mahendra were out of praises for the young music composer. Bala added that he enjoyed every bit of his work with Yuvan as Yuvan is a thorough professional who works instantly even if requests were made via phone.
