Actor Simbu has been riding a wave of success, and it was only expected that sooner or later he would look beyond the boundaries of K’town. Capitalising on the interest he has generated with his newfound romantic hero image, Simbu is all set to enter the Hindi film industry with his trilingual offering, Vettai Mannan. Directed by Nelson, this film will see Simbu in an all-new avatar. “I have worked very hard on my look and promise to engage the audiences in a new experience,” says the effervescent actor who is excited about his Bollywood foray. The Vettaiyan character played by Superstar Rajinikanth in one of his older flicks, Chandramukhi, seems to inspire this young gun. “I play a stylish gangster with cute looks. And since it’s a trilingual I have three heroines to work with and we are on the lookout for fresh faces,” says Simbu.
Simbu who has already started filming for the flick says, “The film will have amazing locales from within Chennai, America and Mexico too.” The film, which is set to be a comedy laced with action, will have music by Simbu’s long time friend Yuvan Shankar Raja.
